Mondial 2011 : vos réactions à notre concours
Du 26 juin au 17 juillet 2011, l'Allemagne a accueilli la Coupe du monde de football féminin, un événement qui a suscité un grand engouement populaire. A cette occasion, la Deutsche Welle a organisé un quiz, qui vous permettait de gagner des maillots officiels de l'équipe d'Allemagne.
- Lors de la première semaine, la question de notre quiz était : « Pourquoi le football féminin ne suscite pas autant d'engouement que le football masculin ? » Dans vos réponses, vous avez évoqué plusieurs raisons :
Makson, de Dolisie au Congo Brazzaville également, pense que « les femmes ne jouent pas bien. C'est pourquoi les compétitions féminines ont moins d'intérêt que celles des hommes ».
« La non-médiatisation ou le manque d'engouement de la part des médias internationaux », est selon Isaac, d'Atakpamé au Togo, la cause pour laquelle la Coupe du monde de football féminin ne suscite pas autant d'interêt. « Comment pourrait-on déceler les talents des femmes si les medias ne contribuent pas à les faire connaître par les retransmissions de match par exemple ? »
Gaston, de Libreville au Gabon, trouve « qu'il revient aux femmes de susciter l'interêt pour les sports qu'elles pratiquent en sollicitant l'apport des grands sponsors car, dans la plupart des pays, les femmes sont destinées aux travaux domestiques ».
« Le foot féminin est de loin plus jeune que le foot masculin. Le statut social de la femme prévoit que la femme ou la jeune fille soit plutôt femme de quelqu'un et mère, plutôt que d'être vedette de football ou d'un autre sport », répond Dieudonné, de Kigali au Rwanda. Il pense aussi que « le football féminin n'est pas professionnalisé et que les Etats ne font pas assez pour le vulgariser puisque dans la plupart des pays, en Afrique, il n'existe pas de championnat de foot féminin, ni même dans les écoles ».
- Lors de la deuxième semaine, la question de notre quiz était : « Que pensez-vous des femmes qui se passionnent pour le football et en général pour le sport ? »
Selon Jean Cédric, de Douala au Cameroun, « les femmes qui se passionnent pour le football sont un exemple à suivre, elles montrent qu'elles n'occupent plus ce rôle de simples ménagères qui attendent tout de leur mari ».
Toujours au Cameroun, André, de Yaoundé, trouve que « les femmes qui se passionnent pour le sport ne sont plus tendres et, à la limite, perdent même leur féminité ». Il pense aussi « qu'elles deviennent violentes et insensibles face aux hommes. D'ailleurs, on les accuse même d'homosexualité », écrit-il. Ceci étant, il n'a rien contre ces femmes, au contraire il les encourage.
Dieudonné, de Kigali au Rwanda, pense que « c'est la société qui a tendance à décourager les femmes en faisant une liaison biaisée entre l'amour du sport et la conduite immorale de la femme ». Or, « le monde a plus besoin de femmes décomplexées pour rattraper le retard de développement causé par la mise à l'écart de la femme ».
Elvir, de Kisangani en RDC, « ne voit aucun inconvénient à ce qu'une femme joue au football ou qu'elle fasse du sport ». Mais selon lui, « lorsque le sport devient une profession pour une femme, il faut bien analyser la compatibilité entre ce travail et les obligations maritales ».
- Lors de la troisième semaine, la question de notre quiz était : « Comment expliquer le grand succès du football dans le monde ? »
